• The raffle was won by Cobar from Cowra and second prize to Barney.

The Canowindra Mens Bowling Club are very grateful for sponsorship from the fol­lowing businesses: D and E Electrical, Dan Bowman Earthworks, Steve Thompson Plumbing,Canowindra Hotel and Canowin­dra Post Shop.

This weekend we have 16 bowlers from Mudgee travelling to Canowindra for a fun morning of bowls commencing at 11am.

We have selected the following teams to play as a pennant trial against them. If any one else can play, all are welcome.

• Brent Lees, Jack Webb, Tony Tuimauga, Ben Rooke

• Teddy Lawrence, Roger Traves, Phil Lees, David Crowe

• Richard Fitzgerald, Barney Robson, Westy Wyburn, Brad Bourke.

• Michael Traves, Brian McClintock, Jamie Stewart, Nigel Knight,

• Caine Rooke, Cock Watt, Larry Nunn, Jamie Grant.

• Marc Stevens, Harry Webb , Greg Ches­ter, Mitch McAllister.

If any players are unavailable this week please let Ben know. Pennants commenece 16 Febuary at Canowindra for both grades against Cowra. We also have a team nomi­nated for Gooloogong for their triples day.

Great numbers on Friday night continue, with excellent weather for evening bowls.

Thursday is also attracting good numbers and the Jackpot is still growing. Badge draws for this week are Wednesday $150, Friday $600 and Sunday $300.

We have a courtesy bus running on our major nights/days, and as the name sug­gests all passengers are reminded to be respectful to all patrons at all times.
