The last two weekends have seen a great couple of events at the Canowindra Golf Club. A big thank you to Canowindra Butchery for supporting the Gold Medal Day on Sunday 12 January, and congratulations to Britt Gibby for taking the win. Also, it’s wonderful to see local businesses like The Canowindra Hotel getting behind the golf days. Congratulations to Lenny Hamilton for his impressive 42 points in the 18 hole Stableford on Sunday 19 January and to Connor Miller for his longest drive wins on both the 9th and 18th holes! The community support and competition seem to be thriving.
Australia Day at the golf course is going to be a blast, with a 3-person Ambrose Medley, live music by DEJA VU, raffles with great prizes like prawn trays and a tray of lamb, plus fun games on the fairway—it’s shaping up to be an amazing day. Huge thanks to Canobolas Locksmith for sponsoring the event. It’s going to be a great mix of golf, music, and community fun. See you at the Golfie!
