Congratulations to local Cowra girl Poppy Starr on being awarded First In Course for Primary Industries in the 2024 HSC.
Poppy was among 131 students from 80 schools across the state who topped a HSC subject and were presented their certificates by The Hon. Prue Car, MP, Deputy Premier of NSW and Minister for Education and Learning at a ceremony at the University of NSW on Tuesday 17 December.
Poppy is a student at Scots All Saints College in Bathurst, and the school community are celebrating her wonderful achievement.
“Poppy has worked incredibly hard over her two years at Scots All Saints College and is deserving of this extraordinary result of First in Course for Primary Industries,”
said Head of College Mr Richard Ford.
Poppy was thrilled on Wednesday morning to receive her ATAR of 92.35 including a Band 6 result in four of her subjects.
