Wrap With Love: Our last meeting on Thursday 28 November was a very enjoyable one. Thanks to Tommy Jeffs, we all finished the year with a delicious Christmas lunch served on a beautifully decorated table. We will now have a break from our regular meetings over the december, January holidays and will meet again the fourth Thursday in February 2025. My thanks go to all those who have continued to keep producing beautiful wraps every meeting and for donating the wool to make them. Have a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. See you again in 2025. By Nina Kallas

Protect yourself against mosquito bites this summer.
Mosquito-Borne Diseases: Mosquitoes can carry diseases that can make you very sick. Take simple steps to protect against mosquito bites:
• Spray up, cover up and screen up, also include ‘clean up’ when appropriate
• Apply mosquito repellent regularly to all areas of exposed skin. The most effective repellents contain picaridin, DEET or oil of lemon eucalyptus.
• Cover up while outside with loose, long sleeved and light-coloured clothing and covered footwear and socks
• Stop mosquitoes with fly screens or mosquito nets Clean up outside areas and remove stagnant water as this is where mosquitoes lay their eggs
• Limit outdoor activity if there are lots of mosquitoes around. Mosquitoes are most active at dawn and dusk. www.health.nsw.gov.au/summer
