Canowindra Squash Championships

Congratulations to the Canowindra Squash Champions for 2024.

On Saturday 20th September the Canow­indra Squash Club held their annual Club Championships. There were some incred­ibly close games which were fiercely con­tested and great displays of sportsmanship shown throughout the week for the prelimi­nary games and on Saturday during the fi­nals.

Congratulations to all of the 2024 cham­pions and to everyone who took part in the championships and made it such an enjoy­able event.

The results were:

• Open Champion- Jordan Smith

• Open R/U- Amber Adams

• Ladies Champion- Amber Adams

• Ladies R/U- Elsey Watson

• B Grade Champion- Mitch Stanley

• B Grade R/U- Wendy Bowman

• C Grade Champion – Darcey Palmer

• C Grade R/U- Tom Brown

• D Grade Champion- Campbell Arnott

• D Grade R/U- Kylie Pull

• Men’s Masters Champion- Mark Adams

• Men’s Masters R/U- Bruce Capps

• Ladies Masters Champion- Wendy Bow­man

• Ladies Masters R/U- Kylie Pull

• High School Champion- Elsey Watson

• High School R/U- Darcey Palmer

• Primary School Champion- Tom Brown

• Primary School R/U- Jess Townsend

• Most Improved Junior- Tom Brown and Campbell ArnottThe two prestigious club awards which are voted on by all players are the Tony Dunn Sportsmanship Award and the Club Person Award. This year the Tony Dunn Sportsman­ship Award went to Elsey Watson and the Club Person was awarded to Bruce Capps.
