Mens Golf

9 October, 2024 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Last week’s golf, sponsored by PA & CL McKenzie Builders, concluded with John Bruton taking the win on a count back with a score of 71 nett. Dave Carman was the runner-up, also scoring 71 nett.

This week, the Men’s Canowindra Open will take place on Sunday 13th October, featuring a 27-hole shotgun start at 9:30am. All players with a PGA handicap are welcome to join. The cost is $50 and unch is included in the registration fee.

Register your interest at www.123tix.com.au/events/45927/mens-golf-open or you can also pop into the club to register.

A big shoutout and thank you to Antonio’s Total Ag Solutions Conway Rural and Canowindra Tyre Service for sponsoring the day. Also Lions have provided many gifts for the day.

Golf is a great way to bond with friends, family, or colleagues while enjoying the outdoors. Whether it’s a casual round or a more competitive game, it’s a perfect excuse to relax and have some laughs. Starting October 10th Thursday Night Chook Run, tee off from 4pm and cards to be handed in by 7.30pm, everyone is welcome to, no handicap is required. And not to forget Saturday Night raffle and Membership draw. See you at the Golfie.
