Canowindra Show is on 27th and 28th September and the Ladies Auxiliary in the Cobley Pavilion have excellent sections to enter.

Section O Dairy, Fruit & Garden Produce: Categories include Hen, Turkey, Duck and Goose Eggs and any other not mentioned. Oranges, Lemons. Mandarins, Grapefruit or a collection or a decorative arrangement of fruit in a basket or bowl. Collection of Herbs, three or more, named. Rhubarb, Pumpkins, Onions, Spinach, Silverbeet, Lettuce, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Carrots. Turnip, Swede, Parsnip, Beetroot, other Vegetable not mentioned, a Collection of Vegetables no less than six. Categories are also available for children to enter including the very creative animal made from fruit or vegetable, decorative carved fruit, and decorative arrangement of vegetables on a platter, etc.
Section P Home Mades: Categories include Special Fruit Cake made to stipulated recipe, a variety of cakes, including items made by a man, tarts, scones, meringues, muffins, plum pudding, gluten free cake, best decorated cake, bread, sourdough, etc. Also, categories for children.
Section Q Quilting: Categories include Patchwork Quilt hand sewn hand quilted, Patchwork Quilt hand sewn machine quilted by the exhibitor, Patchwork Quilt machine sewn machine quilted by exhibitor, Patchwork Quilt machine sewn commercially quilted, Patchwork Quilt landscape traditional or contemporary, Patchwork Quilt featuring applique hand quilted, Patchwork Quilt featuring applique machine quilted by exhibitor, Patchwork Quilt featuring applique commercially quilted, Quilt heirloom style, Quilt featuring mainly embroidery, Patchwork or applique table runner, Patchwork or applique wall hanging, Patchwork or applique cushion, Patchwork or applique bag, Patchwork or applique Christmas article novelty, Patchwork toy, doll or teddy, Attractive & practical item made from material scraps (must not be a quilt), Quilt for child/baby, Quilt made from a kit, Any patchwork not mentioned, Creative Garment.
Section R Preserves: include pickles, jams, jellies, marmalade, relish, chutney, mayonnaise, conserves. Preserves, collection of jams, decorative arrangement of jams, lemon butter, sauces, diabetic jam and marmalade, etc.
Section S Needlework: All hand knits to be completely hand knitted. All seams in knitting to be hand sewn.
