The Orange Wine Region Unveils New Brand Identity

The Orange Wine Region, a jewel in Austral­ia’s cool-climate wine landscape, is proud to unveil its new brand identity and logo. For many years, Orange has been working hard to solidify its position as one of the country’s premier wine tourism destinations. With the introduction of the brand tagline, “A Drop Above,” the region sets its sights on being recognised among Australia’s best.

“A Drop Above” perfectly encapsulates the essence of our high-altitude wine region in Orange, NSW. This tagline plays on the literal and figurative superiority of our wines.

Situated at a higher elevation, our vineyards benefit from unique climatic conditions that contribute to the complexity and quality of our wines.

The phrase “A Drop Above” also cheekily asserts that our wines are of superior qual­ity. It suggests that each sip of our wine of­fers something extra—a distinctive charac­ter and excellence that sets us apart.

This dual meaning of elevation and ex­cellence provides a clever and memorable anchor for Orange, appealing to wine enthu­siasts who appreciate both the uniqueness of our terroir and the premium quality of our collective offerings.

This branding will be used across all our marketing, whether it’s the Orange Wine Show and festival or when we hit the high­way and take Orange to Sydney to meet our consumers.

The new branding reflects our commit­ment to elevating the Orange Wine Region as a top destination for wine lovers. “A Drop Above” encapsulates the quality, passion, and unique experiences that define our re­gion, offering visitors much more than just a taste of our exceptional wines.

And speaking of elevating experiences, we’re just a hop, skip, and a sip away from the much-anticipated Orange Wine Festival, kicking off from October 18th to November 3rd. This year’s festival will be the perfect launchpad for our “A Drop Above” rebrand to truly shine. Keep your eyes peeled for the official festival launch—coming soon!
