So Much Happening At The Golfie

4 September, 2024 By Annette Thomas

The Canowindra golf course is looking great!

Seven months after the new board taking over at the Canowindra Golf Club, things are starting to look better with new mowers looking after our beautiful course which is maintained all by volunteers.

The course is 9 hole with 18 tees it is quite difficult and a challenge to play. We are always looking for new players to come and join us the Ladies play their competition on Wednesday and the Men play on Sunday.

Saturday nights are bigger and better than ever, with 10 meat trays (Canowindra Butchers), three club vouchers and two IGA vouchers (Lawrences IGA) and the membership draw, this all starts from 6pm.

On Monday 4th November the annual Melbourne Cup Calcutta will be held.

Blue Day – Raising Awareness for Men’s Mental Health to be held on 16th November.

It is an 18 hole, 4 Person Ambrose so grab a team and come and support this wonderful cause. There will be Auctions, BBQ, Raffles and music by Shane Kerr. Proceeds of the day being donated to the Amend Project, Dirraybang Footprint and The Boys From The Bush, who all operate locally. So come along and support this great event.
