Three social games were played on Tuesday 13th August. Annette Lynch, Liz Thornberry and Gwen Haydon defeated Christine Pickard, Cierwen Jones and Jeanette Wheeldon 19-12. Joyce Middleton, Jenny Middleton and Betty Jenkins defeated Moyna Rue, Libby Balcombe and Di Mooney 21- 9. Leanne Stevenson, Sandy McDonald and Daph Bryant defeated Sue Slattery, Jill Messenger and Joice McNaught 21-12.
The coaching held on Tuesday provided a great opportunity for all bowlers to improve.
Next Tuesday the Rose Bowl Handicap Singles will be played. Betty Jenkins will play Liz Thornberry, with marker Gwen Haydon. Moyna Rue will play Jeanette Wheeldon, with maker Di Mooney.
