Dear editor,
Thanks for the innovative addition of a serial short story by Russell Hodge in the Phoenix during June and July.
I just finished it, having put aside episodes 3 and 5 for safekeeping to read and then not finding them again until recently!It was an excellent short story that I shall keep, with a powerful ending, and I would welcome further short story serials in the Canowindra Phoenix, especially if they are by Russell or anyone writing with a similar quality of excellence!
