There were three games of bowls complet­ed over the past week. Wests and Tot didn’t seem to have much luck in their O’Brien Cup game on Thursday against Peter and newcomer Jamie Stewart. Peter and Jamie winning nine straight ends to win 32/12.

In the consistency’s games, giant killer Crock continued his good form to win a nail biter against Harry. Crock commenced the game with a slight lead, in which Harry pegged back to lead 131 to 119. Crock with a 9/1 points on the 4th last end brought him back into a possible win. Harry fought back with a 8/2 on the next end to lead again and then Crock scored 13/7 on the net ends to win 151/149.

In the other game, newcomers Mitch McAlister and Greg Chester did battle. Greg went to an early lead and was never head­ed, going on to win 152/118.

This weeks games are:

Saturday 10th August 12.30pm: Semi-final Major Triples

• P Lees, B Lees and B Bourke V R Traves, A Tuimauga and B Rooke

• H Webb, C Sullivan and J Webb V D Crowe, J Stewart and M McAlister

Saturday 11th August 1pm: Consistency Singles

• M Lawrence V G Chester, marker A Rob­son

• B Rooke V J Stewart, marker Dool

O’Brien Cup

• MR traves and E Traves Kinsela V B Bourke and M WrightBadge draws this week are Wednesday $700, Friday $1,000 and Sunday $400.

There will be Major Jackpot draws on 30th

August after the regular meat raffles.

Congratulations to the Tigers on great weekend of football. Good luck to the jun­iors this week at Cowra.
