Canowindra Challenge Incorporated is holding their AGM on Thursday 8th August at the Canowindra Services Club, commencing at 6pm. The committee is calling all community members to come along for the AGM, but also stay for the first planning meeting for the 2025 Balloon Festival that is being held 26th April – 4th May 2025.
The current committee has the next festival well underway and would like to share the progress with the community.
The 2024 event saw new inclusions to the program such as Open Gardens with the Canowindra Garden Club, Flickerfest at Rosnay, Trivia Night organised by the Canowindra Public School P&C, the Pop Up Choir with Nerida Cuddy, just to name a few.
For 2025 there has been a lot of interest from both businesses and the community to be involved in an activity during Balloon Week, and the committee is asking for everyone who would like to hold an event or activity, to come along on the night and put their idea forward for inclusion on the What’s On Guide, the program, social media and ticketing.
If you are a community or business that would like to take part in the street parade, you are also encouraged to come along.
