Congratulations to Aaron Earsman who celebrated 200 games for the Canowindra Tigers last weekend.
Canowindra Tigers in league tag and first grade consolidate their second position of the ladder last Sunday with solid wins. The first grade run out winners 40 points to 30 and the league tag 16 points to 12. The juniors all are trying very hard, lost their clash against competition leaders Molong 40-12.
The first grade team were in control early to lead 18-6 and after stoppage in play for 20 minutes for an injury to a Molong player they hit back with two tries to lock it up at 18 all at half time.
Canowindra scored twice early in the second half, with some great football to a 30 to 18 lead. Molong hit back with a try to narrow to 30 points of 24 but shortly after the Tigers scored again to hold a good lead 40-24. In the closing minutes Molong scored again, this being the final score 4030.
Highlight of the day was Aaron Earsman playing his 200th game for the Tigers, congratulations Aaron.
