We are seeking expressions of interest for a PROGRAZE™ course starting October in the Canowindra/Cudal area.

PROGRAZE™ is a recognised, industryleading training course based on scientifically proven principles of pasture and livestock production.

A key focus is the development of skills in pasture and animal assessment that will improve the productivity and sustainability of grazing systems.

PROGRAZE™ workshops offer hands on learning and skill development with practical on-farm, in paddock learning.

PROGRAZE™ will help you to:

• Visually assess pasture

• Understand how pasture quality and quantity impact animal production

• Match pastures to livestock requirements

• Fat score livestock

• Use grazing management to improve productivity and sustainability of pastures

• Use grazing management to help control worms.

ProGraze develops skills in pasture and animal assessment to improve productivity and sustainability of your grazing systems.

The course is run by experts with a focus on practical applications.

The course is aimed at landholders that manage livestock (sheep and/or cattle). It takes place over 8 (approx. 5hrs each) sessions on farm over 8 – 10 months. Visiting different farms allows for an opportunity to learn from/with your peers.

The total cost is $300 per business, with up to 3 participants per business.
