Canowindra played well over the Championship, missing out on being placed 2nd in their section by a point. In the first match they went down by a point 52/51. On the final end it came down to a measure to see who held shot, 1/16 inch being the difference. Little did we know luck was going to play such a big part on the weekend. Well done to all the players and the supporters at Yamba.
Thanks to Jamie Grant for organising social bowls on Saturday with 8 players attending including out of town visitors.
This weekend we have rounds of the zone 4’s, Reserve Fours with Canowindra having two teams playing. Roger, Crowey, Phil and Tot. Teddy, Barney, Tony and Ben.
Social bowls will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. Competition bowls by mutual agreement.
Badge draws are as follows; Wednesday $450, Friday $500 and Sunday $150.
Remember Club Memberships are up for renewal and all Men’s Bowling Members fees.
