What a wonderful Friendship Day it was at bowls last Tuesday 25th June. The response to the day was remarkable with seven new ladies interested in playing bowls.
The day commenced with a delightful morning tea provided by many of the current bowlers, we had a game of bowls. Fours games were played each game played with one or two of our new ladies, who showed great potential and keen to join the team.
After one and half hours on the green we then came in to a sumptuous lunch of pumpkin soup (made by Di Mooney) and chicken soup made by (Jenny Middleton), both delicious.
It was a wonderful day, thank you to all the new ladies, for coming and your friendship.
