Theft Of Electric Bikes: Sometime on Saturday night during the balloon glow, two electric bikes were stolen from the Showground. It appears bolt cutters were used to remove the two electric bikes from a visiting caravan and they were ridden away. What a sad way to end such a wonderful week. We encourage those responsible to return the bikes to their owners. If you see anyone with a newly ‘acquired’ electric bike, or see an electric bike dumped on the golf course or showground, after a joyride please report it. We are hoping this won’t discourage people from far and wide, coming to the balloon festival and enjoying our wonderful town.

Donato Teams Up With Former Wiggle: Following Phil Donato’s recent installation of a 24/7 community accessible Automated External Defibrillator (AED) outside his office in Lords Place, Orange – he has now teamed-up with Greg Page of Wiggles fame, and now CEO of Heart of the Nation to host a free AED Community Training event. The training event will be held on Friday 3rd May, 9:30am – 12pm at at the Orange Ex-Service’s Club, Anson Street, (Green House Function Room). Light refreshments will be provided.
