Men’s Bowls

Last weekend the 7s travelled to Cowra and put in a good performance against a strong Cowra side. Canowindra won one rink and lost the O’Brien big board 58/65.

The 7s go to Woodstock this Sunday for the second round at 11am. Transport will be leaving at 9.50am and the teams are:

• B Bourke, M Wright, J Cousin, J Grant

• M Traves, N Knight, K Perry, L West

• M Stevens, D Watt, C Rooke, L Nunn

• Reserves: B Bourke, C Sullivan

The 6s travel to Oberon for their first round.Transport will be arranged by skips as the bus is unavailable, and will be leaving at 8.30am. The teams are:

• M Lawrence, A Robson, A Tuimuga, H Webb

• D Beath, R Traves, A Wyburn, W Fisher

• D Crowe, P Lees, B McClintock, B Rooke

Badge draws all went off last week to some lucky members. Competition games can be played by mutual agreement. Tony continued his good with a comprehensive win over Peter 25/15. The final against David will be in a fortnight when 6s have the bye.
