Swimming Success: Congratulations to local girl Anna Pearce, who last week represented the Bathurst Diocese at Homebush in the 50m Freestyle. Anna won the Bronze medal and has secured her place on the Polding team to compete at the State competition being held at Homebush today, Thursday 11th April. Goodluck Anna!
Correction: We would like to advise of a change to the menu for Flickerfest at Rosnay published last week. The meal on the evening will now be wood fired pizza made by Rosnay’s on-farm cooks, using locally sourced meats from Refalo, and not curry made by Andrew as previously promoted.

Vale John (Jack) Mallon: Cowra Shire Council acknowledges the death of long serving Councillor John (Jack) Noel Mallon. Jack died on April 1, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment to the Woodstock community. Jack Mallon was known for his contributions to farming and grazing but also for his dedication to public service. Serving as a member of the Cowra Shire Council for an impressive span from 1983 to 2016.
