Men’s Bowls

Results from last weekend with three games Saturday and one Sunday.

Tony and Mathew had great match with Tony going to early lead. Mathew fought back to lead the match in the later stages. Tony won the last couple of ends to win 25/23.

Crowey got the better of Brad Bourke in an entertaining match. Brad played well but Crowey’s experience proved the difference, going on to win 25/10.

Larry and Marc had very close game early with scores level at several ends.Marc pulled away in the later half winning 10 out of the last 11 ends, 25/14.

In a minor pairs match on Sunday, Michael and Tot had a win over Jack and Caine in a close match 23/20. Thanks to all players for braving the weather to finish their matches.

Games for this weekend: Saturday 30th March are Minor singles, Tot v Brad Bourke Marker B Rooke. Monday 1st April Major Pairs R Traves P Lees v A Tuimunga B Rooke. Minor Pairs at 2pm W Fisher M Traves V Barry Bourke G Chester.

Triples nominations close soon, get your teams in Minor and Major.

Club open Friday 29th at 11am, twilight bowls at 6.30pm. Music from 4pm to 8pm. Major Jackpot draw 8:15pm after the Easter/seafood trays are drawn.

Badge Draws for this week are Wednesday $900, Friday $600 and Sunday $900. Happy Easter.
