The 2024 Canowindra International Balloon Challenge Committee are looking forward to meeting with farmers and landholders next week.
Calling All Farmers: All farming landholders are invited to attend a community meeting with the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge committee will be held next Friday 22nd March at 6.30pm at the Canowindra Services Club. This will be an opportunity to ask questions, be informed about flight planning, weather amongst other items, and also participate in the 2024 event. Drinks and nibbles provided.

Head along and learn about aged care sevices in our area as well as a variety of stalls and presentations. Registrations are essential for catering purposes. Art Exhibition At Montrose: Montrose House in conjunction with Canowindra Art Gallery local artists present their latest Art exhibition which will run from Easter to 4th May. Due to the loss of the Gaskill Street Gallery, Tommy Jeffs has kindly offered his exquisite Montrose House to showcase the exhibition. The installation will be open for the public to enjoy in the elegant setting of Montrose House through Easter, the School Holidays and the Canowindra Balloon Challenge. The Grand Opening will be Thursday 28th March at 6pm.
Local Markets: Be sure to head along to the first Palms Markets for 2024 tomorrow evening, Friday 22nd March. Then the following weekend, the Koorawatha Markets will be held on Saturday, 30th March from 9am – 1pm at Memorial Park, Boorowa Street, Koorawatha.
