Cabonne Home Support and Cabonne Community Transport held a very successful Seniors Expo last July in Molong.
The 2024 Cabonne Seniors Expo will be on Wednesday 27th March from 9.15am at the Canowindra Services Club.
This year Cabonne Council has 14 service providers in attendance with stalls set up so attendees can approach the service providers directly during break times. There will be an agenda for the day and presentations for key service providers discussing specific topics or their services in general. Some of these will include:
• Service NSW discussing their seniors Savings Finder Service
• The Aged Care Specialists from Centrelink
• Community Health discussing Advanced Care Directives
• Legal Aid discussing planning a funeral
• NSW Trustee and Guardian discussing putting together a will
• COMPACKS discussing short term services post hospital discharge
• Seniors Rights, Care Finder, Carer GateWay
This is a free event and is open to all seniors, their families and carers. All service providers in attendance do offer services in the Cabonne area, however the majority do provide services in some form across the state or nationally.
