Congratulations to the members of the Wrap With Love knitters who worked hard in 2023 and were able to send just over 95 wraps to Orange.
This is a wonderful achievement for our small group and you should be proud of yourselves as many of the knitters supply the wool themselves.
Already, many have been knitting over the holidays and Bev Williams will be busy sewing the squares into wraps, as quite a number of squares and five beautiful completed wraps have been left at the Cabonne Home Support Office.
We have taken a break over the holidays and our first meeting for 2024 will be on Thursday 22nd February.
Because of the renovations occurring at the Cabonne Office and Library, we will be meeting at Montrose House and I would like to thank Tommy Jeffs for offering one of his rooms while the works are being carried out across the road.
I would also like to extend an invitation to anyone who is a knitter to join us this year and the generous people of Canowindra who could donate and supply acrylic wool – please do so as a full ball of wool which turns into 2 and a half squares which go into the 28 needed to make a wrap.
Thank you again to all those involved, your efforts are much appreciated.
Let’s make sure 2024 is a record making effort.
See you in February.
