Christmas Day was celebrated at the Canowindra Community Lunch with people celebrating the Christmas spirit of sharing, helping, friendship and enjoying each other’s company.
Thanks are extended to all the business’, organisations and individuals including the Canowindra Lion’s Club, Lawrences IGA, St Vincent de Paul, The Age of Fishes, Molly’s Grove, Canowindra Bowling Club for the excellent venue, business’ that posted our notices in their windows, Canowindra News, Canowindra Phoenix and social media pages, everyone who provided beautiful food, those who volunteered to help with setting up and giving their time on Christmas Day.
A special ‘thank you’ to those who came to share the meal and the pleasure of their company.Canowindra is a blessed community with a strong community spirit. We will be back this year for our 12th Canowindra Community Christmas Lunch.
