Chase Milton in second place, about to cross the finish line at the 2023 NSW State Championship last weekend.
Local Karting driver Chase Milton competed in the 2023 NSW State Championship held at Lithgow City Raceway from Friday 29th September to Sunday1st October.
Chase headed into the competition with the goal of a top 10 finish and to just enjoy the atmosphere and experience. With a huge field of the best 32 drivers in the state it was always going to be tough. Added to this, the hot conditions and heaps of rubber on the track posed several challenges.
Chase was consistent in all his heats, finishing in the top 10. Starting 5th in the 25 lap final he managed to bring it home in second place, just missing out across the line by half a kart length.
