Canowindra Public School P&C present their 2023 fundraising event ‘Look at Me!’ an art exhibition by the students at Canowindra Public School.
Students have been busily creating sculptures, paintings and drawings that will be on sale over the weekend of Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd October at the exhibition.
P&C President Eleena Markcrow said, “We are raising funds for a cultural and creative experience for all the students which will involve workshops and mural at the school inspired by the students.
“At the same time, the exhibition inspires children to use their imaginations and participate in an event that engages with our local community. We have some creative talent at our school!
“In addition to the artwork on sale, items with the artist’s work such as gift cards or coffee mugs can be ordered, and we will also be auctioning off posters from each class.”
Perennialle Plants have donated the space in their basement for the exhibition, with the opening night on Friday 20th October, being held in conjunction with The Palms Market.
Opening night tickets are only $10 per adult and includes welcome nibbles and beverage plus one ticket in the fundraising raffle. Verto in Cowra has generously donated an amazing selection of electronic goods valued at $750 and local photographer Sugarloaf Studio has donated a $250 package to the raffle.
