The Canowindra Gun Club conducted a fun-filled day of competition on Sunday, 20th August, with 16 shooters in attendance. The highlight of the day was a 100-target continental competition that tested both accuracy and endurance.
The outstanding results were as follows; C grade 1st T Steele, 2nd G Paddison; B grade 1st Peter Taylor, 2nd David McMillan, 3rd John Tomlinson; A grade 1st Bill Wilson, 2nd Alan Drogemuller, 3rd Joe Caltabiano; AA grade 1st Damo Burt, 2nd Barry Rue, 3rd Brett Dean; Overall Nathan Burt 295/300. Nathan Burt was the high gun, and Jodie Dunn, representing the generous sponsor Gunsmoke Bathurst, awarded him with the sash.
The grounds and clubhouse were beautifully displayed, thanks to our wonderful club members, Eileen for operating the office, and the kitchen staff.
