The 2023 Canowindra Show is fast approaching, being held on 22nd and 23rd September, and will once again feature a wide selection of exhibits to involve every member of the family.
The show offers a variety of sections including: article home spun wool used or washed; toy or best teddy; wool or creative embroidery; cushion, carry bag, tapestry or cross stitch framed, pin cushion, needle case, beading; greeting card, any article not mentioned, scrapbook page, metal or woodwork, porcelain cloth or vinyl doll, diamond art and mosaic.
The novice section, for anybody who has not won a prize before, includes knitted or crocheted scarf, machine sewn peg bag or plastic bag holder and article made from recycled or scrap material.
The show also offers group sections for preschool age craft, junior craft work, secondary craft work and senior craft work.
If you wish to participate in the show, all exhibits must be in the pavilion ready for judging by 1.30pm Thursday 21st September.
Entires only cost 50c and items can be dropped off to the Ladies Auxiliary Office in the Cobley Pavilion at the Showground between 10.30am and 2.30pm, from Monday to Thursday during the week prior to show. Entry forms must be attached to each entry and are available from the Canowindra Post Office for 40c each.
