The Canowindra Tigers defence was a feature of their win against Condobolin on Sunday, 16th July to hold onto 2nd place on the ladder. The impressive 34-20 win was because they held on to Condobolin for many sets especially in the middle of the 2nd half. All the boys worked together in both attack and defence, and it was hard to the pick the points for players player as several players could have received them. This week the tigers are at home against Grenfell it will be the last home game before the semi-finals.
The League Tag team showed true grit against the competition leaders to snatch a draw in the closing seconds in a very entertaining match. The League Tag team is a true force in the competition with improvement shown every week.
The Juniors fought hard but were lacking numbers, which is a shame because with a full side they could have won the match. Due to injuries and player shortage, Condobolin wore them down and came away with a win.
