There was finally some fine weather for bowls to be played. Thursday’s social bowls had a good roll up and the jackpot was not won, so come along next week for a chance of winning the jackpot.
On Saturday, 15th July there were some keen bowlers playing social bowls in glorious sunshine, following up on the Sunday with a major triples game between Brent Lees, Phil Lees and Brad Bourke who defeated Roger, Tony and Sub Mathew, 18 to 13 in a closely contested match. Lead bowls on the day had a great contest with both Brad and Mathew playing brilliant bowls.
The O’Brien Cup and Consistency close this Sunday, 23rd July, so get your names in.
