Entrants from the 2022 Canowindra Show Young Woman competition greatly enjoyed the experience.
The Canowindra PA&H Association are calling for entries for the 2023 AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition at this years Canowindra Show.
The purpose of the competition is to identify ambassadors to promote Agricultural Shows across NSW. The program is designed to develop young regional women, to benefit the individual, the local show society, and their communities. Interview, presenting, and networking skills are all strengthened through the program, which can create new life opportunities for participants.
Past entrants of the Young Woman Competition have loved the experience, and now the opportunity is here for a new group of women to enter.
The winner of the competition at the Canowindra Show will progress to the zone final. Winners of the zone final then have the opportunity to comepete in the State final of the competitionto be held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2024.
If you would like to know more about the program, an information session will be held on 29th July at the Canowindra Showground from 10am
Applications are now open and will close on Friday, 1st September. Registration forms can be requested via email and returned via email to: megadelaide65@ gmail.com. If you are a young rural woman, or you know a youth you’d like to nominate, please complete an application today.
