After the rain earlier in the week, the long weekend is set to be clear and sunny, a perfect opportunity to get out and about this weekend.
Embracing all sides of our village, are tourist attractions including national parks and scenic drives, all just as inviting in the cooler months as in summer.
Our neighbouring villages are always worth a visit, so why not check out the Eugowra murals, historic Carcoar or Koorawatha Falls. There are plenty of markets on the weekend; you can head to the Gooloogong recreational markets on Sunday from 9am to 1pm or head to the Molong markets on Monday.
If camping is your thing, several grounds in the area are available to cater for a cosy night away, or a group gathering of family and friends. Don’t forget you can collect your supplies from local stores like Central West Saddlery and fresh produce from our local grocers and deli’s.

Staying home doesn’t mean there is nothing to do either. Grab a book from the library or peruse the main street stores, most of which are operating normal trading hours over the long weekend.
Our Galleries, wineries and of course Age of Fishes Museum are also always worth a visit. Café’s, pubs and clubs will also be open, ready to feed a crowd if you have friends and family over.
