Moorbel Hall Markets are a delightful country style market held on the first Saturday of the month at Moorbel Hall, Auxiliary Street Moorbel. This Saturday, the first weekend of winter will be no exception with locals and visitors encouraged to head out and support the local stall holders.
Just a short three-minute drive from the centre of town on the Belubula Way, the Markets are one of the Canowindra Community’s favourite events. Even in the winter months, the hall provides the perfect spot to continue these lovely markets.
You’ll find plenty of scrumptious homemade items to take home and enjoy including preserves, soaps, fresh vegetables, cakes and more.
Fresh baking and produce from the lovely people of Deerfied Produce is always a delight. Autumn planting is made easy with locally grown plants and succulents. Plenty of craft stores to stock up on those winter woollies, or find the perfect gift for everyone from a new baby to your grandma! Find hidden treasures in the Bric-a-Brac and second-hand stalls.
Morning tea is available, homemade by the halls volunteers. You can enjoy a cuppa and scones or a sausage sandwich made by the lovely ladies, have a chat with some townfolk all while enjoying the country market.
Your support is encouraged at this monthly event as it helps to raise funds for the hall, an important community resource that is widely used by the community for events such as christenings, birthdays, weddings and other functions.
