Canowindra Tigers played their strongest side this season and completely outclassed Cargo on Sunday, 21st May winning 66 points to 6. The Tigers were boosted with the Mariner brothers, Jakiel, Duwayne, Shiem, Jayne and Meimiete Siale.
The Tigers led 22-0 just 15 minutes into the game before changes were made to put on the new guys and their talent chimed in with the local guys.
They were leading 56-6 at half time and due to the mercy rule, full time was called at 48th minute of the match.
Next week the Canowindra Tigers take on Oberon Tigers.
The league Tag was a close encounter that could have gone either way but Cargo scored late in the second half to seal the game 18-10, after leading at the break 12-6.
