Canowindra Pre School And Kindergarten Upgrades

11 May, 2023 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Children enjoying the new playground and bike path.

Over the recent school holidays, the Canowindra Preschool did several enhancements to their grounds and facilities.

Two of the major upgrades were a concrete path replacing the pebble path so children could ride their bikes and scooters along the path to help with their gross motor skills and imaginative play. The concrete path was made possible by fundraising done by the preschool. The preschool would also like to thank Brendan and Ray Nash and Mr Bagnall who donated their time to complete the form work and excavation in preparation for the concreting. The finished product was done through a contractor. It is now a much-loved part of the preschool.

Secondly a new sandpit was constructed as part of the new landscaping. The sandpit will accommodate more children. The design is easier to maintain and will bring joy to the children of Canowindra for many years to come.

Canowindra Preschool has been a part of our community for many generations, and your continued support through fundraising will see the preschool available for more generations to come. You can help support them by purchasing their cookbook, a perfect Mother’s Day gift available at Perennialle Plants, Delice Coffee and via the preschool.
