The Number 6’s travelled to Lithgow on the weekend for the Zone 4 playoffs.
Despite the atrocious weather conditions they still came away with a win in the Zone 6 Pennant. Congratulations to players and managers for their commitment over the weekend. The team will be looking forward to attending the state playoffs at Warilla on 30th June. The playing format is four section with winners playing a semi-final and then final.
In Canowindra, the club hosted the zone 4 playoffs with Bathurst Magellan defeating Dubbo City Club. Thanks to Betty and Di for umpiring duties and Sharon for catering. Well done to the bar staff and green staff. Visiting bowlers congratulated the club on their hospitality and greens.
Games for Sunday 7th May are as follows; Major Pairs Final between M. Lawrence, A. Robson v. B. and Z. Lees. Minor Pairs Final; B. Bourke, M. Wright v B. Rooke and J. Webb. Ground duty for this weekend is Frank Barton and Gary Fairly.
