Raffle Fundraiser for St Joseph’s Eugowra: Gabby Malpas, a beautiful artist from Sydney, has kindly donated one of her gorgeous hand-made, hand-painted pots (RRP $200), as well as some large print-cards, to be raffled at Perennialle Plants. Perennialle has added a veggie gardening trug (RRP $90) for a second prize. So, pop into the store up until Sunday, 16th April to purchase tickets (cash only). The raffle will be drawn at the end of the Balloon Festival. All proceeds go towards musical instruments for Nerida’s gorgeous school in Eugowra.
Community Assistance Program: Applications are now open for round two of Cabonne Council’s 2022-23 Community Assistance Program (CAP). The program is open to non-for-profits within Cabonne and funding is available up to $1,000 per project. Applications for CAP funding will close at 5pm on Wednesday, 5th April 2023. Latin Fit with Sabrina: After a successful first lesson at the Rosnay Cellar Door, Latin Fit is coming to town. Join in on Tuesdays from 6.30pm – 7.30pm at Canowindra Connections. Canowindra High Year 7 Kindness Project: Canowindra High Year 7 students and their advisor Mrs Nash have been working on the Kindness Project. They are striving to spread kindness throughout the school. In their weekly meetings, students will be taking part in kindness activities, focusing on how they can become kinder students and spread kindness around the school. They are so excited to have so many ‘kindness ambassadors’!
