The consistency final was played on Saturday and a great contest unfolded between Brad, who had the early lead due to a good handicap, and Fitzy closing on Brad’s lead taking the win, 148.
Pennant round five saw Millthorpe turning the table on the number 6’s 165/159. This leaves Canowindra still on top of the points table with 38 points, Millthorpe on 31 points, Orange 28 points and Eugowra on three points. Canowindra must win the big board against Orange to advance to the playoffs on 22nd and 23rd April.
The Canowindra 7’s had a good win against Woodstock, this was a great effort on Woodstock home ground. Canowindra came away with a 8/2 result. The big board 55/51.Canowindra will play Cowra at home this weekend with the game commencing at 10am.
Friday, 24th March is the Hospital charity bowls night, names by 6pm all welcome. There will be a BBQ as well to help raise money for the Hospital. Get your raffle tickets available from the bar. The prize is two beautiful outdoor chairs.
