One of Canowindra’s most cherished events are the Moorbel Hall Markets, held on the first Saturday of every month.
The markets attract a large variety of stalls including local preserves, fresh vegetables, homemade cakes, flower pots, craft items, knitwear, jewellery, books, trash and treasure, plants, garden ornaments, soaps, giftware and more.
This coming Saturday, 4th March Dowdy’s Suds’n’Crafts will have their soaps, scrunchies and craft outside the hall with gifts for all ages. Deerfield Farms will also be there with freshly baked treats, yummy preserves, farm fresh eggs, quiches and more.
Support your local community and enjoy a homemade morning tea of scones, a cuppa or a sausage sandwich made by the lovely ladies on the hall committee.
Funds raised at the monthly markets help with the up-keep and maintenance of the hall, which is an important community resource. The hall can be booked for concerts, weddings, parties and other community events.
