Christmas Shop ‘Til You Drop In Canowindra

1 December, 2022 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Local Canowindra business owners preparing for Thursday’s Christmas Shopping Night.

The Canowindra retail precinct will be a hive of activity on Thursday, 1st December with many of the local businesses opening for late night shopping.

The Christmas Shopping Night comes after multiple businesses in the main street were affected by the November floods. It is the perfect time to support these businesses by doing your Christmas shopping here in Canowindra.

There will be lots on offer, with businesses conducting giveaways, vouchers and terrific sale prices, live music, Christmas displays and Montrose House cocktails on the green to entertain shoppers on the night.

Follow the tinsel trail from The Trading Post to Britty’s Hunting around at Rue’s old garage, and then along Gaskill Street where you will find Canowindra’s main street bustling with activity. Almost all the shops will be participating in the evening, including the new newsagency kiosk at the Post Office.

The Age of Fishes Museum will be hosting a free BBQ from 4pm and many of the clubs and pubs will also be open.

Don’t miss the opportunity for Santa photos at Perennialle Plants and also at Santa’s Cookie Studio in the Canowindra Phoenix office at 84 Gaskill Street.

The Christmas Shopping Night is an independent venture organised by the local businesses in Canowindra that support our town in so many ways. This is your chance to give back and support them by shopping locally this Christmas season.
