Coles has donated essential products including breakfast cereal, water, milk, canned food, noodles and pet food to residents in flood-affected towns in central western NSW.
A Coles online van delivered more than 7,500 essential groceries and sanitary products to the evacuation centre at Forbes High School, as well as provided hampers to residents of the flood-hit town of Eugowra.
Coles Regional Manager NSW Supermarket Operations Aaron Ralph said the team is doing everything it can to provide urgent support to the community.
“In addition to donating and delivering essential items, Coles is also working hard to ensure our shelves in these communities are well stocked and able to meet the demand of flood affected residents. We’ve made additional orders of items like rubber gloves and garbage bags to support the clean-up,” Aaron Ralph said.
Canowindra also received food donations through Coles, arriving on Friday, 18th to the Canowindra Services Club. They were met by the Canowindra Woodbridge Cup girls who helped to load and stack the items.
