Junior Cricket off to a smashing start!
Canowindra v’s Grenfell Game 1: A fantastic start to the 2022/3 season for the Canowindra stage 2 side today against Grenfell. Great batting with a total 165, all batters contributed. Great partnerships and running between wickets were a highlight.
Seven of our players retired on balls faced and Harry was not out at the end. Excellent bowling from Harry with 3 wickets for 6 runs, Spencer Douglass 1 wicket and Sam Breen 1 wicket.
Our efforts in the field were high class. Grenfell found it hard to score because of our tight fielding and walking in with the bowler. Excellent talk and encouragement from our Captain, Campbell Arnott. Player of the match was Harry Sullivan Webb and Team Player awarded to Spencer Markcrow.
