Vinnie Verma – From Canowindra Riverview Hotel and Indian Take Away.
How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I have lived here for about 13 months. My Wife Parveen and I run the Riverview Hotel and Indian Takeaway. I like the community feel, it is a nice little town.
How are you involved with the community? We run the Indian takeaway here in town and also support the Men’s Bowls.
What do you enjoy most about where you work? That I can spend time with my wife and child every day, working together. I also like that we get to meet people who travel here from across the country.
What do you like to do on weekends? Weekends are when we are very busy, but when we can we like to go to the pool and spend time together.
What are you really good at? Cooking. I used to run an Indian restaurant in Sydney for 15 years. I learnt to cook from my father who was a Chef.
What makes your day? Seeing my family successful and happy, seeing my daughter enjoying school and making friends.
