Everyone is welcome at the CWA friendhip morning tea to enjoy the fun and form new friendships.
CWA Update: CWA Canowindra Branch elected a new executive committee at their AGM on Thursday, 27th November. The next friendship morning tea will be held on Monday, 14th November from 10.30am at the CWA Hall Blatchford Street. The Canowindra CWA Branch encourages new memberships, so head along to learn what CWA is about. The event is free, though donations to CWA are gratefully accepted. The friendship morning tea is held every second Monday of the month. Transport may be available, please contact the CWA if you need assistance to attend.
Shop Local for Christmas: Local retailers are encouraged to list their business with the Canowindra Business and Progress Chamber to be added to the #shoplocalforchristmasincanowindra list. Online and shopfront businesses are welcome to contact the association to be added.
Kicking off the Christmas season for Cabonne: Cudal’s Corden Store and adjacent park will host a Twilight Christmas Market on Saturday, 26th November from 4pm. Market stalls, food vendors, bar an free family entertainment will be available on the night. Santa and Mrs Claus will also be making a special trip to the Night Market. Lions Club presents Life Memberships: Lion Ronny Cain was recently presented Life Membership to the Canowindra Lions Club for his outstanding service to the club. Ronny Cain is still acting as treasurer at the commendable age of 83 years. Former President Darryl Fliedner was also made a life member on the evening.
