The Progress Association requires a new team to ensure future of the Canowindra Economy.
The annual general meeting of the Canowindra Business Chamber and Progress Association (CBCPA) will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, 16th November at the Canowindra Services Club.
A reminder that you must be a financial member to vote at the meeting. Membership is $70 for a business, $30 for voting private, and non-voting private is $5. All memberships are now due.
All current positions will be vacated at the meeting, this is the opportunity for the residents of Canowindra and districts to stand up and continue the good work that had happened over the previous years such as the Christmas Shopping Night and Christmas in July.
The CBCPA is an incorporated body fully insured, with a favourable bank balance. This committee has a very healthy relationship with the local council. Further funding opportunities available up to $39,000.
A business chamber and progress association is essential to all towns to support the local council. The CBCPA is responsible for accessing grants to improve the future of the town. A robust committee is needed to make Canowindra a place people like to live and invest.
