Emily Thomas is off to Adelaide!
Central West Throwers had 13 athletes compete in the NSW All Schools at Sydney Olympic Park last week, coach Ernie Shankelton was very impressed with his athletes coming away with 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze, 11 top 5, 15 top 8 and 5 personal best.
Emily Thomas (Canowindra) Hammer Throw, Ky Garrett (Cowra) Hammer Throw and Zoe Daniels (Picton) Discus, now all move on to the next level to represent NSW in the 2022 Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Track and Field Championships from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th December at SA Athletics Stadium, Adelaide, South Australia. Alex Rice (Canowindra) won Gold in the 12 year Hammer Throw. Alex should be so proud of himself after he showed up to compete after being sick. Alex doesn’t move on to the next level due to his age.
Mollie Blackman (Mudgee) won Bronze in the 15 years Hammer Throw and Lachlan Rice (Canowindra) won Bronze in the Triple Jump.
