Garden Club Day Out: The next Canowindra Garden Club meeting will involve the club travelling to the Rustic Maze and Country Garden at Young on Wednesday 21st September. All Garden Club members will meet at Morris Park at 12.15pm to car pool to Young. Cost is $22 which includes garden tour and scones. Baroque Themed Markets: The Palms Twilight Markets will be held this Friday 16th September with a Baroque Festival theme. There will be live music from Cicada Club, art, crafts, food and fresh local produce from 4-8pm in Gaskill Street.
Public Holiday: Australia will have a national Public Holiday on Thursday 22nd September to mourn the loss of Queen Elizabeth II.
Central Tablelands Local Land Services: Are looking for six graduates across the state to join them for 12 months to learn all about Local Land Services and get out in the paddock with customers. Gain on-ground experience as well as a mentor to help with career journeys. Canowindra Show: Tickets are available online via 123Tix and also a week prior to the Show at the Showground or at the gate. Membership prices for tickets purchased prior to the show and include entry for the duration of the show are Family $25 (includes guest and any school aged child), Adult $20, Child $5, Pensioner $10. Day entry at the gate is Family $30, Adult $20, Child $5 and Pensioner $10. Cash and Eftpos are available both at the show office and on the gate.
Spring Art Exhibition: This Friday 16th September commencing at 5pm the Canowindra Art Gallery will hold the opening for a vibrant new exhibition to mark the beginning of spring after a long-wet winter. “Come and help us celebrate at the Gallery, 70A Gaskill Street. All are welcome,” said Wayne Miles Chair of the Gallery.
