High Tea: The CWA is celebrating 100 years with high tea at Noojee Lea homestead gardens this Saturday, 10th September. The garden gate will swing open from 1.30pm – 4pm and high tea will be served at 2pm.
Symphony of the Winds: The next Palms Markets to be held on Friday, 16th September will have a Baroque Music Festival theme. Organisers are encouraging local children and their families or school class to create wind chimes out of unused objects, nature and recycled materials to bring along to the twilight market. The creations will be hung at The Palms, 33 Gaskill Street for the week of the Baroque Music Festival. Organisers are hoping to engage the children and families of Canowindra in a love for all kinds of music and get them excited about the Baroque Music Festival being held in the community.

Ram Sale Season Kicks Off: It was a fantastic start to the ram sale season last week for KMWL. At the Cranbrook Poll Dorset ram sale held last week in Canowindra there was a total clearance of 54 rams. The top price ram went for $4,100 and the sale averaged $2,415. Upcoming KMWL ram sales include: Ridgehaven Poll Dorset Ram and Stud Ewe Sale (today) Thursday 8th September and Tenalba Border Leicester Ram Sale on Thursday, 15th September 2022.
