The U12’s Canowindra Tigers were successful in their game last weekend playing with passion and wearing the Tigers colours with pride! They now proceed to the preliminary final in Manildra this Saturday 3rd September.
The Canowindra Tigers took on the Manildra Rhinos last weekend in a tough and close game.
The Club held a minutes silence before the game for Shona Millar who passed away last Friday night. The Club would like to pass on condolences to Malcolm and his family.
The score was 22 all at full time, with the Tigers going down 28-26 in extra time. Manildra will now play Oberon in the Grand Final at Grenfell this Sunday 4th September.
At 10.45am the Youth League Grand Final will take place between Molong Bulls and Grenfell Goannas. At 12.20pm the League Tag Grand Final will see Manildra Rhinos play against Grenfell Goannas and then at 2.30pm in the First Grade Grand Final it will be Manildra Rhinos up against the Oberon Tigers.
The Canowindra Rugby League Football Club will hold their Presentation afternoon at the Canowindra Bowling Club on Saturday 17th September 2022 starting at 3.00pm for presentation at 4.30pm.
